FC FUTBOL 

SUMMER CAMP & SMALL GROUP TRAINING SAFETY PROTOCOL 2024

FC Futbol is committed to working diligently in ensuring our participants and staff members enjoy a safe environment this summer.  FC Futbol are closely monitoring the Board of Health safety and health regulations set forth by the Governor's office.  The FC Futbol safety protocol is subject to change based on the CDC recommendations and guidelines.  The following are safety measures FC Futbol will be implementing this summer.

Prior to arrival/attendance:

-       Parents/Guardians will receive a copy of this safety protocol prior to camp, as well as informative links to CDC safety guidelines. Parents/Guardians will also be required to complete and sign a hold harmless waiver.

-       All participants and staff will be required to complete an at home symptom check prior to arrival.  If there are any symptoms, including elevated temperature, we require that he/she do not attend the program that day and contact his/her healthcare provider as soon as possible, as well as contact the program director.

-       Visitors will be restricted at all times.  No one will be allowed to stay and watch camp.

 

Drop Off/Pick up:

-       Drop off: All parents/guardians are asked to check their child in with the Camp Director prior to the start of each camp day.

-       Pick Up: All parents/Guardians to check their child out with the Camp Director prior to leaving camp. If someone other than a parent is picking your child up, this must be coordinated and confirmed in writing to the camp coordinator prior to camp.

 

Equipment/Bags:

-       Participants are required to bring their own bag with water bottles filled, mask if required, sunblock, towels etc.

-       Water filling stations will be available but only permitted to use with staff.

-       Participants will utilize designated locations to place their bags and belongings.  They are not permitted to touch anyone else’s.

-       We provide all equipment: Equipment will be rotated, and staff will sanitize all equipment prior to handing out and after each use.

-       Sharing of equipment will be limited as much as possible.

 

Safety, Sanitation and Hygiene:

-       Masks are optional. Participant must bring their own face mask or covering (optional to wear during camp).

-       We will practice and promote good hygiene by having hand sanitizing and hand washing breaks throughout the day.

-       We will provide supplies including soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, tissues, disinfectant wipes.

-       Staff will sanitize high traffic areas and touch points multiple times throughout the day.

-       Snack and Lunch breaks will be staggered to reduce the number of participants in one space at a time.

-       Snack and lunch breaks will be taken in designated areas and at staggered times.

-       Participants/Staff will bring their own food and are not permitted to share water or food.

 

Social Distancing:

-      Participants and staff will remain in the same group throughout the entirety of training/camp.

-      Staff will maintain and encourage social distancing where possible.

-      We will provide adequate field space for physical distancing to be permissible; stations/sports will be spread out.

Identification of possible COVID case:

-      In the event that a participant or staff experiences any symptoms, they will be self-quarantined in a designated area and be required to wear a mask.

-      Parents/guardians of participants will be contacted and instructed to pick up their child that is not feeling well as soon as possible.

-      Staff will be instructed to leave immediately.

-      Upon identifying a possible case of COVID 19, staff and participants must follow CDC return to play guidelines.

Staff:

-      Staff will participate in health and safety training, and will be reviewed throughout the week.

-      Staff will be required to report any signs or symptoms of illness they recognize in participants or fellow staff immediately to the Camp Director.

-       Staff will be responsible for sanitizing all equipment before and after use, as well as maintaining and encouraging social distancing between participants, and the overall safety of participants throughout.

2024 Refund policy:

- Refunds requested at least 14 days prior to the start date of camp will have the option to receive either (a) a full refund minus credit card processing fees, or (b) a full credit towards a future FC Futbol program.

- Refunds requested within the 13 days prior to the start date of camp will receive a full credit towards a future FC Futbol program.

- Refunds will not be given once camp has started.

REGISTRATION:

In registering for any of our summer programs, you agree to the following Communicable Disease release of liability and assumption of risk agreement:

- In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the program, related events and activities, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that: I am aware there are risks to me of exposure to directly or indirectly arising out of, contributed to, by, or resulting from an outbreak of any and all communicable disease, including but not limited to, the virus “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”, which is responsible for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and/or any mutation or variation thereof. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS FC FUTBOL FOUNDATION AND, its officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (RELEASEES), from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability arising out of or related to any ILLNESS, INJURY, DISABILITY OR DEATH I may suffer, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY REGISTERING AND FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATE WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
